On August 9th, Prof. Amin Abbosh, director of the Centre for Electromagnetic Innovations at the University of Queensland, delivered two keynote speeches, including a virtual session. Abbosh, a highly influential academic with over 500 research papers and 20 patents, discussed the challenges of translating research from the laboratory bench to patient care and hospital bedside in his speech titled "Medical Microwave Imaging: from Bench to Bedside."
