At the Moratuwa Engineering research Conference 2024 the 10th of August was reserved solely for workshops, of which there were two. “Simulation of Urban Mobility: Traffic Simulator”, conducted by the Department of Transport Management and Logistics Engineering was a hands-on introduction to the “SUMO” urban mobility simulation software conducted with a target of 20 participants. As well as “Machine Learning in the Air: Deep Learning for Wireless Communications”, on the application of deep learning techniques to enhance wireless communication systems conducted with a target of 50 participants, by the Department of Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering of the University of Moratuwa.
