The IEEE PES Student Chapter at the University of Moratuwa conducted an awareness session aimed at introducing the Power & Energy Society (PES) to the students. The primary goal of the session was to familiarize attendees with the mission and activities of PES, emphasizing its role in promoting the development of sustainable power and energy technologies. The session covered the various opportunities and benefits available to members, including access to technical resources, networking opportunities, and professional development. Through this initiative, the chapter successfully raised awareness about the advantages of joining PES and encouraged more students to get involved in the society's activities.
