On Saturday, March 2nd, the IEEE ComSoc Student Chapter of University of Moratuwa hosted the webinar on Innovative thinking, which was held in parallel with the ComFix-2024 Communication Technology Ideathon. The event, conducted via Zoom, attracted over 40 participants, comprising students, and tech enthusiasts from various institutions. The keynote speaker for the event was Mr. Dushantha Ranwala, Senior Tech Evangelist at Dialog Axiata PLC. He captivated the audience with his insights on innovation in communication technology, emphasizing the importance of creative thinking in coming up with solutions for problems in the communications industry. Mr. Ranwala shared real-world examples from his extensive experience, which resonated deeply with attendees, highlighting the role of innovation in building solutions for modern communication challenges.
