The second day of the SOLIDWORKS workshop, organized by the IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES), built upon the foundational knowledge gained on the first day. The session took a deeper dive into more advanced features of SOLIDWORKS, focusing on practical applications and real-world design scenarios. Participants explored complex design tools, including assembly modeling, part manipulation, and creating detailed drawings of 3D models. In addition to this, students were guided through the process of simulating mechanical systems to better understand the software's capabilities for engineering analysis. By the end of the second day, participants were able to confidently create multi-part assemblies, implement design iterations, and simulate basic mechanical movements, further solidifying their practical skills in 3D design. This final session aimed to ensure that students left with a comprehensive understanding of SOLIDWORKS and its applications in engineering projects, preparing them for future academic or industry challenges.
