The IEEE Student Branch of IIT, along with the IEEE Computer Society, Women in Engineering (WIE), and Robotics and Automation Society (RAS), organized successful interactive orientation sessions for the new batch of students from both the Business and Computing schools. The Business School Orientation took place on September 18th, while the Computing School Orientation occurred on September 24th and 25th, with a combined attendance of around 650 students. The sessions introduced students to various IEEE chapters, highlighting ongoing projects, workshops, and opportunities for involvement. To enhance engagement, the event featured fun activities where students received prizes and swag, providing a fun and rewarding conclusion to the session. The positive feedback and high level of participation affirmed the success of the orientation.
