We are thrilled to highlight the Final Ideathon of VoltCast 1.0, which took place at the University of Ruhuna on 29 th of September 2024. This exciting competition brought together creative minds to tackle real-world challenges in power and energy systems. Sponsored by, Regen Renewables ,Variosystems ,VolfPackEnergy ,coenergi and NirvaLanka, the event provided a platform for students to present innovative solutions across two rounds: Semi-finals and Finals. Event Overview The Ideathon was held in person, with teams competing in two rounds: - Semi-finals: Teams pitched their innovative ideas to a panel of judges. - Finals: The top 6 teams advanced to the final round, presenting detailed and refined versions of their ideas. Sponsor Involvement Representatives from Regen Renewables and Variosystems attended the event and actively engaged with participants, offering real-world insights on the feasibility and potential impact of the presented ideas. 2nd Place - LKR 15,000 Organizing Commitee
