The Career Guidance Unit of the University of Moratuwa , in collaboration with the John Keells Foundation and the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society Student Branch Chapter , successfully organized the Soft Skills Workshop for undergraduates on the 10th of October 2024. The event, which took place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., aimed to enhance the personal and professional development of students by providing valuable industry insights. The workshop featured a keynote speech, a panel discussion, and multiple sessions focused on personal development, CV writing, and interview preparation. All sessions were led by experienced professionals from John Keells Holdings, including top-level managers who contributed to the panel discussion. This workshop provided an excellent platform for students to engage directly with industry leaders, gain career development insights, and prepare for future professional challenges.
