The second day of the first workshop for IEEEXtreme Programming Competition, titled "Understanding Programming Languages and Python," was held on 10th October 2024 via Zoom. Led by Mr. Ishara Neranjana, a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer at Zone 24x7, the session attracted over 130 participants who were eager to enhance their programming skills and gain practical knowledge. The workshop focused on the key programming concepts and practical applications, offering strategies for effective problem-solving. The session covered Python’s versatility in fields like data science, automation, and software development, using real-world examples to illustrate its capabilities and best practices for efficient coding. Participants engaged in hands-on exercises to practice coding techniques and explored methods for debugging and optimizing their programs, building confidence in their skills. The interactive Q&A session allowed attendees to discuss advanced topics and clarify doubts, making the workshop a valuable step in preparing for the IEEEXtreme 24-hour hackathon and future software development challenges.
