Description

The 83rd Annual Academic Sessions of Galle Medical Association was held on 26th September 2024 at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ruhuna. The EMBS contributed to the event financially and technically. IEEE EMBS ex-com members support a group of students from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, to exhibit a project related to medical image processing. The project title was Automatic Stage Detection of Non-Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy. The project attracted the attention of medical professionals who were present at the event and received positive feedback from them.
