Description
The second workshop for the IEEEXtreme Programming Competition, titled "Conquering Complex Problems," took place on October 17, 2024, via Zoom. Over 130 participants attended to advance their programming skills and gain hands-on knowledge under the guidance of Mr. Lakshith Nishshanke, a developer at labml.ai and 4th place winner in IEEEXtreme 17.0. Focusing on advanced problem-solving strategies, the workshop showcased Python’s adaptability for addressing complex challenges in areas like data science, automation, and software development. Participants were guided through real-world examples to enhance their coding practices and engaged in hands-on exercises to build confidence in debugging and optimizing intricate programs. The interactive discussions enabled attendees to delve into advanced topics and seek guidance on their queries, making the workshop a valuable preparatory step for the upcoming Haxpedition mini-hackathon, the IEEEXtreme 24-hour hackathon, and future programming challenges.
