IEEEXtreme 18.0 was a remarkable challenge! The IEEEXtreme 18.0 Global Hackathon was successfully hosted as an overnight event at NSBM Green University on the 26th and 27th of October, bringing together IEEE members and volunteers at the Faculty of Computing. IEEEXtreme is an international challenge where teams of IEEE Student members face off in a 24-hour coding marathon to solve a series of programming problems. Every NSBM-registered team participated wholeheartedly in this demanding competition, demonstrating their commitment and skills. The IEEE Student Branch of NSBM Green University proudly organized this event under the guidance of Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Dean of the Faculty of Computing Dr. Chaminda Wijesinghe, Master in Charge of the IEEE Student Branch Mr. Gayan Perera, and the academic staff of the Faculty of Computing. Notably, 10 NSBM teams ranked within the top 100 in Sri Lanka, marking a significant achievement for the university!
