IEEEXtreme 18.0, hosted by IIT, marked an outstanding success, kicking off on October 26th at 5:30 a.m. and concluding 24 hours later at 5:30 a.m. on October 27th, at the IIT Java building. This annual global challenge drew an impressive turnout, with 100 teams and 300 participants attending in person, alongside a significant number of online attendees. Expedition series featured a range of workshops and a mini hackathon, which helped equip participants with valuable skills and contributed to an IIT team achieving 1st place in Sri Lanka in this global competition. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Organizing Committee for their dedication, the IIT staff and lecturers for their invaluable guidance, the proctors for their oversight, and the University Ambassador for their unwavering support, all of which were instrumental in making IEEEXtreme 18.0 a memorable and impactful event.
