On the 20th of November 2024, the Faculty of Technology, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Pitipana, Homagama, hosted the IEEE IES Distinguished Lecture Program as part of the ICIET 2024 Pre-Conference Workshop . This event featured two distinguished lectures by renowned experts in the field: Partial Power Energy Processing – A New Toolbox for Efficient DC Microgrids , delivered by Prof. Dmitri , shedding light on innovative approaches to enhance energy efficiency and performance in modern power systems. PHOTOVOLTAIC OPTIVERTER - A Novel Hybrid MLPE Technology for Residential and Small Commercial Photovoltaic Applications , presented by Prof. Andrii , exploring cutting-edge technology to maximize photovoltaic efficiency. The workshop served as an excellent platform for participants, including researchers, engineers, and students, to gain insights into advanced energy processing techniques and sustainable energy solutions. This pre-conference workshop not only set the stage for the upcoming ICIET 2024 conference but also fostered meaningful discussions and knowledge-sharing among attendees passionate about driving innovation in energy systems.
