Sysco LABS Sri Lanka, a leading technology and innovation hub, hosted an exclusive industry visit, offering students an invaluable glimpse into the practical applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and cutting-edge technology solutions. The event began with an introduction to AI fundamentals and current trends, led by Yasantha , followed by an engaging session by Yasinda on the legal, ethical, and social dimensions of AI. Participants also explored responsible AI usage in workplace scenarios through an insightful hands-on session, deepening their understanding of how AI workflows address real-world challenges. The day concluded with an exciting AI knowledge quiz and a prize distribution for the top three participants, leaving attendees inspired and motivated to explore new horizons in AI technology. This visit effectively bridged academic learning with professional industry practices, equipping students with essential skills and knowledge to advance in the field.
