On Friday, November 29th, 2024, the Second Community Meetup of Illuminate '24 took place at Hatch Works from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The event provided undergraduates and aspiring entrepreneurs with an engaging platform for networking and thought-provoking discussions. Mr. Abith Latiff, Head of Startup Ecosystem Development at ICTA, conducted the first session, "Effective Fundraising Strategies for Startups," offering practical guidance on securing funding. The second session, "From Revenue to Results," led by Mr. Janik Jayasuriya, Founder and Managing Director of Celeste Daily, focused on optimizing revenue for sustainable growth. The meetup empowered participants with valuable strategies and fostered connections within the entrepreneurial community, inspiring them to pursue their goals confidently. It was also an excellent opportunity for networking, especially for those aspiring to launch their own startups, allowing them to connect with like-minded individuals.
