The IEEE Student Branch of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka proudly organized an IEEE Awareness Session on July 24, 2024, aimed at introducing students to the world of IEEE and its benefits. Conducted virtually via Zoom, the session began at 6:00 PM and attracted a diverse audience eager to learn more about IEEE’s mission, activities, and opportunities. The session provided participants with an overview of IEEE, its global impact, and the numerous benefits of membership, including access to cutting-edge technical resources, networking opportunities, and skill development platforms. Attendees gained insights into IEEE’s role in advancing technology for humanity and how it supports students in their academic and professional journeys. Interactive discussions and a live Q&A session kept participants engaged, while the organizers encouraged them to register as members and become part of the vibrant IEEE community. The event was a great success, inspiring many students to join IEEE and explore its potential.
