The IEEE Student Branch of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka hosted an insightful workshop titled Unlock the Future of Project Management with Agile Scrum on August 16, 2024. The session, held at 7:00 PM, was led by Mr. Thilina Balasooriya, Assistant Manager at Rakuten Group INC, Tokyo, Japan. Mr. Balasooriya, a data engineering expert with a strong passion for Agile Scrum, provided attendees with a comprehensive understanding of Agile methodologies and their pivotal role in modern project management. Through practical examples and in-depth discussions, Mr. Balasooriya highlighted how Agile Scrum can drive efficiency, flexibility, and success in today’s fast-paced environment.
