IEEE Student Branch of SLTC – December Meeting Summary

Description
The chair of the IEEE WIE SB AG of SLTC began the meeting by updating the successful conclusion of phase 01 of InspiHER{Tech}v3.0, conducted with the support of the CADD Center. Furthermore, she highlighted the preparation status for the next two phases. Then, she updated the RT on preparations for the upcoming school project. Next, the chair of the CS SB Chapter provided an update on the preparation for Codemania v5.0, including updates on sponsorship hunting. Then IEEE IES SBC shared updates of their ongoing projects, Silicon Pulse and Nexora, including dates and sponsorships. Next, IEEE IAS SBC shared the successful conclusion of webinar 01 of Venturify, a collaboration with the IEEE SLIIT IAS SBC, and updates and preparations for its upcoming webinars. The SB webmaster then discussed the preparations for developing the official SLTC IEEE website and requested all the flyer plans for all ongoing projects. Then, the SB treasurer gave updates on received finance reports and deadlines for the remaining reports. Then, the secretary of the student branch gave updates on vTool submissions and upcoming vTool report deadlines. Lastly, the SB chair gave an update on the year plan for 2025. Overall, the meeting facilitated productive discussions on ongoing projects, upcoming projects, documentation, and website development. Action points were identified, and responsibilities were assigned accordingly.
