The IEEE Student Branch of the University of Moratuwa, in collaboration with the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter of the University of Moratuwa, organized hosting IEEEXtreme 18.0 , the annual global 24-hour programming competition organized by IEEE. The event hosted the registered groups for IEEEXtreme 18.0, comprising the participants from the University of Moratuwa. The event took place from 5:30 AM on the 26th of October 2024 to 5:30 AM on the 27th of October 2024 at the CSE Level 2 Lab in the Sumanadasa Building, University of Moratuwa , Sri Lanka. The University of Moratuwa’s IEEE Student Branch coordinated and facilitated a seamless experience for all participating students during this 24-hour coding marathon. The Organizing Committee provided round-the-clock assistance to participants, troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining a positive and energetic atmosphere . To sustain the participants’ energy levels and morale during the competition, refreshments and meals were provided throughout the event. The event saw enthusiastic participation from talented students at the University of Moratuwa, who demonstrated exceptional skills in collaboration, creativity, and perseverance. We look forward to continuing our tradition of participation and excellence in future iterations of IEEEXtreme as well.
