The Grand Finale of MoraXtreme 9.0 was held on December 15, 2024 , at Insight Hub, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Moratuwa , starting from 8:00 AM onwards . The top 10 finalists participated in a highly competitive 6-hour continuous coding competition , showcasing their problem-solving skills and technical expertise. The event was flawlessly executed, with facilities, refreshments, and technical support provided seamlessly to ensure a smooth experience for all participants. The Award Ceremony was held from 3:30 PM onwards , where the winners were presented with cash prizes , and all finalists were awarded certificates in recognition of their outstanding performance. The top three winning teams were awarded cash prizes: Champion – LKR 30,000 1st Runner-up – LKR 20,000 2nd Runner-up – LKR 10,000 This marks the first-ever physical iteration of MoraXtreme , making it a historic and successful milestone in the competition’s journey.
