The IEEE EMBS Student Branch Chapter of the University of Moratuwa, in collaboration with the Electronic Club, successfully hosted a session featuring Professor Anusha Withana from the University of Sydney. The event attracted nearly 110 participants , offering deep insights into Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR) . Professor Withana discussed biological inputs in technology , showcasing his innovative project, “Tactoo” , an electro-tactile interface using printed electrodes. He also provided valuable guidance on research opportunities and higher education , encouraging Sri Lankan undergraduates to explore these fields.
