Description

The competition "Innovate with Ballerina" invited university students to showcase their creativity and skills in utilizing the Ballerina programming language. The main objective of the competition is to improve the interest and technical knowledge of university students of Ballerina. The students who competed submitted their projects on GitHub and provided the repository URL. This competition aimed to foster innovation and collaboration among budding developers, offering them a platform to demonstrate their talent and ingenuity. The judging process was conducted by the Ballerina team of WSO2. The Award Ceremony took place at the premises of WSO2 , celebrating the achievements of the top 10 teams that demonstrated outstanding performance. Each of these teams was honored with gift hampers as a token of appreciation from WSO2 , recognizing their efforts and dedication throughout the competition. The event featured generous cash prizes , with the first-place winners receiving Rs. 150,000 , the second-place winners earning Rs. 100,000 , and the third-place winners securing Rs. 75,000 . Additionally, teams that placed 4th through 10th were awarded a prize of Rs. 10,000 each, ensuring wider recognition for their efforts. WSO2 also provided refreshments to all attendees , fostering a celebratory atmosphere and encouraging networking among participants . The event successfully recognized and rewarded the talents of the participants, leaving a lasting impact on the competition's community.
