The Building Blocks of the Web workshop provided an insightful dive into the foundations of web development. The session was conducted via Zoom and led by Ms. Hiruni Jayamini, an associate UI/UX engineer at Virtusa (Pvt.) Ltd. attracted 120 participants eager to enhance their understanding of core web technologies. The workshop primarily focused on HTML and CSS, covering essential concepts forming web development's backbone. While Ms. Hiruni shared insights into modern web design principles and best practices in front-end development, the session mainly emphasized structuring web pages with HTML and styling them effectively using CSS. Participants gained hands-on experience in crafting responsive and visually appealing web interfaces. The interactive Q&A segment allowed attendees to clarify doubts and gain expert guidance. Overall, the workshop was an enriching experience, equipping participants with valuable knowledge to excel in web development.
