SHErlock 2.0 was an engaging and interactive event organized by the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group at IIT, aimed at inspiring the next generation of innovators. The event kicked off with an online awareness session on the 5th of February, providing participants with valuable insights and preparing them for the main event. The event held at the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) in Colombo, attracted over 200 undergraduate participants from across the country, providing them with a platform to showcase their technical skills, critical thinking, and teamwork. With the incredible effort of a dedicated 30+ member organizing committee and the valuable support of six esteemed event partners, SHErlock 2.0 successfully blended fun and learning through interactive quizzes, problem-solving challenges, and storytelling sessions that highlighted groundbreaking contributions to science and technology. The event also fostered an inclusive space for collaboration and knowledge sharing. Participants had the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities, network with industry professionals, and celebrate innovation, making SHErlock 2.0 a truly impactful and memorable experience. The winning team was awarded a cash prize of LKR 10,000, and all participants received certificates in recognition of their engagement and enthusiasm .
