The IEEE PES Student Branch of University of Ruhuna successfully organized an online webinar on "Sri Lanka's Grid Infrastructure" on April 8, 2025. The event featured Eng. Naveen Amarasinghe, Senior Electrical Engineer at Samanalawewa Power Station, who shared valuable insights on the current state, challenges, and future developments of Sri Lanka's electrical grid system. The webinar attracted over 100 undergraduate students from multiple universities, fostering knowledge exchange and professional development in the field of power engineering.
