RobotNexus 2 Workshop 3

February 25, 2025 · 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM @ Online event

Description

On the third day, the session moves online to focus on programming and algorithm design for the micromouse robot. Participants will learn how to write code to enable the robot to follow walls, using sensor data to adjust its movements. Concepts like proportional control will be introduced in a simple way to make the coding intuitive and effective. Objective: Equip participants with the skills to write and debug code for wall-following behavior, which is the core functionality of the robot. Content Outline: Theoretical Session: Understanding proportional control (P-control) for wall following. Pseudocode walkthrough of wall-following logic. Coding Session: Writing and testing wall-following algorithms in MicroPython. Real-time debugging and optimisation.
