Futuro 3.0: Inspiring the Future Generation The IEEE Women in Engineering Student Branch Affinity Group of the University of Moratuwa proudly organized Futuro 3.0 on the 8th of April 2025 at Princess of Wales College, Moratuwa, starting at 8:30 AM. This inspiring initiative was aimed at Advanced Level science students, helping them explore diverse opportunities in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The event featured two insightful sessions. The first was conducted by Dr. Chathuranga Hettiarachchi, who delivered an eye-opening talk on “Emerging Technologies Shaping the Future”, introducing students to cutting-edge advancements and their impact on the world. The second session was led by Chathura Gunasekara, who presented an engaging talk titled “What Lies Beyond the University Gates”, offering valuable advice and firsthand experiences to help students prepare for life beyond school. Futuro 3.0 served as a valuable platform to broaden perspectives, ignite ambition, and empower students to pursue their passions. It was a day filled with inspiration, curiosity, and meaningful learning.
