The IEEE Challenge Sphere 2025 – Awareness Session was successfully conducted as a virtual event by the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in collaboration with the IEEE Computer Society USJ Chapter. This session aimed to introduce undergraduates to the scope and structure of the IEEE Challenge Sphere 2025, encouraging active participation in a diverse range of innovation-driven challenges. The key focus area was the 07 challenges, which are : Robotics Challenge Artificial Intelligence Challenge Arduino Challenge Circuits Challenge Chips Challenge Healthcare Innovation Challenge Communications Challenge Miss Chamodi Hansika , Software Engineer at Dutton Labs Sri Lanka, Full-Stack Developer, and Chairperson of IEEE Challenge Sphere 2025 – IEEE Sri Lanka Section , graced the session. As a dedicated IEEE volunteer, she provided a comprehensive overview of the competition framework and shared valuable insights on how students can get involved, enhance their technical competencies, and apply them to solve real-world problems. The session also served to spark enthusiasm and motivation among participants, setting the stage for informed participation in the upcoming phases of the IEEE Challenge Sphere 2025.
