The IEEE Student Branch of the University of Vocational Technology successfully held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the year 2025 on 5th March at 8.00 PM via Google Meet . The AGM served as a formal platform to reflect on the achievements and milestones of the past year, acknowledge the efforts of the outgoing executive committee, and officially appoint the new leadership team for the upcoming term. The session commenced with a warm welcome and opening remarks, followed by detailed reports from the outgoing Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer, highlighting the branch's initiatives, events, financial overview, and overall impact. The meeting also featured speeches by invited guests, including IEEE Sri Lanka Section representatives, who shared their insights and extended their support to the student branch. A key highlight of the evening was the introduction of the newly elected executive committee for 2025–2026, who pledged their commitment to furthering the mission of IEEE and empowering the student community through technical, professional, and leadership development activities
