Organized primarily by the IEEE Student Branch of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (IEEE SB KDU), Luminary’25 was a momentous celebration that marked two remarkable milestones. The event proudly recognized the achievement of the "Outstanding Branch Counselor Award" received at the SAC Awards 2024 , a prestigious honor that reflects the dedication and excellence of the branch’s leadership. At the same time, the occasion commemorated the 10th Anniversary of the Faculty of Computing at KDU, celebrating a decade of innovation, growth, and academic excellence. Luminary ’25 not only highlighted these accomplishments but also provided a meaningful opportunity for former IEEE committee members to connect with the current team. This interaction allowed for valuable sharing of experiences, ideas, and inspiration, helping to strengthen the spirit of continuity and collaboration within the branch.
