The meeting commenced with the Chair of the WIE Student Branch Affinity Group providing an update on the pending WIE fund status and the follow-up actions undertaken. Following that, the Chair of the CS Student Branch Chapter presented the current progress of CloudSpace 1.0, detailing its planned dates, program structure, and confirmed speakers. The chair of the IES Student Branch Chapter then explained their upcoming initiative, the SL Arduino Challenge 2025, scheduled for June. Key points included the proposal progress, potential funding avenues, tentative workshop commencement, and final phase scheduling in alignment with the academic calendar. Next, the Chair of the IAS Student Branch Chapter shared updates on SolidX, an upcoming industry visit scheduled for June. Details regarding the hosting company, date, time, and other special arrangements were highlighted and discussed. The Student Branch Secretary provided updates on documentation and reporting, including vTools submissions, ongoing document revisions, and upcoming report deadlines. The SB Webmaster shared the status of the official SLTC IEEE website and outlined the tasks remaining for its completion. The Treasurer addressed issues related to the student branch’s annual fundraiser, highlighting current challenges and proposed solutions.
