The Annual General Meeting 2025 of the IEEE University of Jaffna Student Branch and IEEE PES Student Branch Chapter was successfully held on 28th April 2025 via Zoom. The meeting was hosted by Ms. Gimanthi Lalithya, who warmly welcomed all participants. The session commenced with a welcome speech delivered by the outgoing committee president, Mr. Ahsan Sanjan, appreciating the efforts of all members and setting the tone for the event. Following this, the minutes of the previous AGM were presented by the former secretary, Ms. Chethana Athupitiya, offering a recap of past initiatives and milestones. The highlight of the meeting was the election of the new executive committee for the 2025/26 term. Once the new committee was introduced, the newly appointed advisor, Mrs. S. Nithusiga, addressed the gathering with inspiring words. This was followed by the new chairman, Mr. Himal Raveen, who presented the action plan for the upcoming term, outlining key goals and initiatives for the future. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the new vice chairman, Mr. Nirmal, expressing gratitude to all participants, past committee members, and supporters. The AGM marked not only a successful transition of leadership but also a celebration of collaboration, commitment, and new beginnings.
