“Ignitron” Awareness Session

The IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka organized the "Ignitron" Awareness Session on March 22, 2025. The session introduced Ignitron, a new initiative aimed at enhancing student engagement, innovation, and professional development. Featured speakers from the IEEE Computer Society Sri Lanka Chapter, Mr. Vidura Bandara and Mr. Randeesha Savindu, highlighted key opportunities such as prestigious scholarships, contests, and honor societies. The event saw active participation from students across faculties and marked a successful launch of the initiative, promoting the benefits of IEEE CS membership and fostering student empowerment.
