The IEEE Nuclear & Plasma Sciences Society (NPSS) Student Chapter at the University of Moratuwa successfully hosted the second webinar of their Fusion Frontiers series, titled “Radiation Detection & Application” . This online session was conducted by Dr. Richard Kouzes , Senior Scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). Held on 24th May 2025 at 7:30 PM via Zoom , the webinar covered advanced concepts in radiation detection technology and its practical applications in various scientific fields, including nuclear fusion research. The event was attended by students, researchers, and professionals interested in nuclear sciences and fusion technology, providing an interactive platform for learning and discussion.
