Path to Internship ’25, a career development initiative organized by the IEEE Industry Applications Society Student Branch Chapter of SLIIT in collaboration with the IEEE Student Branch of SLIIT, lit the way for undergraduates across Sri Lanka to step confidently into their professional futures. This initiative tackled the real-world challenge: turning academic knowledge into industry readiness. The program had four key phases: Two online workshops with speakers from Acentura and OREL IT. - 8th May 2025 A physical session and CV review - 10th May 2025 A career fair, on the same day as the physical session. Industry visits to top tech firms WSO2 - 23rd may 2025 SyscoLABS . - 9th and 15th July 2025 Its student-led, industry-focused model and a unique mix of online and physical engagement created a career-readiness experience that made Path to Internship truly stand out . Backed by enthusiastic partnerships and a passionate organizing team, Path to Internship ’25 was a remarkable endeavor.
