SheSpark was an exclusive career development event organized by the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group at IIT in celebration of International Women’s Day. Held at IIT GP Square, the event provided a unique platform for female students to enhance their professional skills and gain industry insights from experienced professionals. Representatives from Fortude, a well-established software company, shared their expertise on navigating the corporate world, offering guidance on handling work in an industrial environment, building a strong LinkedIn profile, and crafting an impactful resume. Additionally, representatives from CAL, a leading investment bank, conducted an insightful session on financial literacy, equipping students with essential knowledge to manage their finances effectively. With around 100 enthusiastic registrants, SheSpark successfully fostered a space for learning, networking, and empowerment. The event served as an inspiration for aspiring young women, encouraging them to build strong career foundations and thrive in their respective fields.
