The Executive Committee meeting of the IEEE Student Branch at Uva Wellassa University for the month of June commenced with a brief reflection on the progress made since the previous discussion. The core agenda of the session focused on the initial planning and discussion of IEEE Open Day 2025 . The purpose and vision of the event were elaborated, highlighting its role as the official induction for new undergraduate members and an opportunity to introduce them to IEEE’s structure, global network, and volunteer-driven culture. Members collaboratively explored ideas on how to make the event more engaging and informative, covering aspects such as event flow, content design, speaker suggestions, and promotional strategies. In addition to that, the meeting included a discussion on the design concepts for the Executive Committee T-shirt and the Volunteer T-shirt . Members shared design preferences and theme ideas, emphasizing the importance of branding, identity, and visual coherence across the team. It was decided to move forward with a design draft phase, inviting suggestions from members to finalize the artwork collaboratively. Each member also provided updates on the progress of their assigned responsibilities, and challenges were resolved through open discussion and collective input. The meeting concluded on a positive and energized note, with mutual agreement to conduct regular check-ins on Open Day progress, finalize the T-shirt designs in the upcoming week, and continue working together with dedication toward a productive term ahead.
