The preliminary round of FInn'C 2025 marked a significant milestone in this year’s challenge, with enthusiastic participation from over 60 teams across the country. Each team submitted a project proposal in alignment with the provided proposal template, showcasing a diverse range of innovative ideas and solutions. Following a careful review process, 20 teams were selected to move forward based on the merit of their proposals. These top entries demonstrated clear problem identification, feasibility, creativity, and a strong alignment with the competition’s objectives. To ensure a fair and technically sound evaluation process, the judging was overseen by Mr. Ranjan Kulathunga , Senior Tech Lead – Embedded Systems at Zone24x7. The evaluation panel comprised accomplished final-year undergraduates from the Department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering, University of Moratuwa, including: Mr. Lasitha Jananjaya Mr. Moshintha Isuru Mr. Malith Jayalath Miss Nuthya Prathibhani Their expertise and academic insight played a key role in assessing the proposals and shortlisting the most promising projects for the next stage of the competition. The preliminary round set a strong foundation for the rest of the FINN'C 2025 journey, reflecting both the talent of the participants and the rigor of the evaluation process.
