The IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Student Branch Affinity Group of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka organized a virtual webinar titled “Leave Inside Out” , aimed at enhancing students' professional and career development. The session featured Ms. Numica Perera as the guest speaker — a distinguished Human Resources professional with nearly 20 years of industry experience and a Master’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Colombo. Her talk, titled “Mindset Matters: How Attitude Shapes Career Success”, focused on the critical role mindset plays in achieving professional growth and overcoming career challenges. The 1.5-hour session was insightful and engaging, providing valuable guidance and motivation to student participants. This initiative served as an excellent opportunity for attendees to gain real-world perspectives from an expert in the field, and it contributed meaningfully to their personal and career readiness journey.
