In celebration of IEEE WIE Day 2025 , the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Student Branch Affinity Group of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka successfully organized “CyberCircle – An Open Talk with IEEE Members” on 2nd July 2025 at Faculty of Applied Sciences, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, starting at 6.30 PM. CyberCircle was designed as an interactive open discussion to explore the evolving landscape of cybersecurity, encouraging the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and experiences among students and IEEE members. The session created a platform for curious minds to engage in meaningful dialogue on current cybersecurity trends, challenges, and the importance of digital safety in today’s connected world. The event fostered a collaborative learning environment, promoting awareness and sparking interest in cybersecurity as a critical field in the digital era. Participants walked away with greater insight and inspiration to explore cybersecurity in their academic and professional journeys.
