Key discussions included: IEEE Open Day: Updates were shared on the event’s progress, with discussions on logistics and a proposal to invite an external speaker, suggested by Hirushi Liyanamana. TIQRI Meeting: Briefed on the status and action points following the TIQRI engagement. CS Chapter: Shared updates regarding BOC event videos published on YouTube, upcoming events, and current financials. PES Chapter: Discussed scheduling a session at the Faculty of Engineering focused on career trends in power and energy. Planning of this awareness session was agreed upon. IES Chapter: Proposal made to host a PES event at the Faculty of Technology. Updates were given on the Electrocombat OC preparations. WIE Affinity Group: The committee discussed the upcoming industry visit planned for July and a potential UI/UX design competition. EMBS Chapter: Informed the committee about receiving funding from Global EMBS for a proposed exhibition. It was decided not to conduct a hackathon, and instead plan the funded exhibition event.
