This is organized by the Center of Excellence in Informatics and Transmission (CIET) at SLIIT in collaboration with the IEEE ComSoc Sri Lanka Chapter, this distinguished online workshop featured a keynote session by Prof. Alexandros-Apostolos, an expert in wireless communications from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The lecture explored the transformative role of intelligent high-frequency technologies as the backbone of 6G networks. Discussions included how these advancements will power next-generation applications in areas such as smart cities, autonomous systems, and Industry 5.0, enabling ultra-low latency and high-capacity communications. The session attracted students, researchers, and professionals in computing, engineering, and telecommunications.
