Meeting for planning Ideathon + Designathon Competition for University Students Date: 22nd June 2025 Time: 10:00 PM – 11:00 PM Venue: Virtual Chairperson: Minuri Navoddhika Secretary: Dilini Sewwandi Participants count: 12 IEEE WIE ExCom - 5/6 (5 out of 6) IEEE EMBS ExCom - 4/6 IEEE CS ExCom - 3/6 Discussion Points & Decisions: Main Host and Theme: The event will be hosted under the leadership of IEEE WIE Affinity Group, in collaboration with IEEE EMBS and IEEE CS Student Chapters. The central theme of the competition will be healthcare and wellness innovations. Competition Structure: EMBS will lead the Ideathon stage, focusing on proposal submission and development. WIE, along with CS, will handle the Designathon phase, supporting the prototyping and final presentation stage. Timeline: The event is scheduled to launch in October 2025. A detailed timeline and responsibilities will be discussed and finalized in the upcoming meetings.
