The IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Sri Lanka Chapter, in collaboration with the IEEE PES Student Branch Chapter of KDU and the IEEE Blockchain Local Group – Sri Lanka Section, successfully hosted a thought-provoking guest talk at the FGS Auditorium, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University. The session featured Prof. Pasika Ranaweera from University College Dublin , who delivered an insightful presentation on the integration of UAVs and Blockchain in 6G networks. The talk explored how these advanced technologies are shaping the future of wireless communication and enabling smarter, more secure systems.
