REBOOT 1.0 (IEEE Open Day) - First OC Meeting Date: June 19, 2025 Meeting Title: First OC Meeting – REBOOT 1.0 Meeting Time: 10:00 PM – 11:00 PM Duration: 60 minutes Main Discussion Points: Introduction to REBOOT 1.0: Overview of REBOOT 1.0 as IEEE’s Open Day initiative aimed at increasing awareness and engagement with IEEE among university students. Objective: To educate, inspire, and onboard new members across all campuses. Event Structure: Decision to conduct the Open Day across three physical locations corresponding to the university’s three campuses in different cities . Open Day will be conducted separately at each location , accommodating the regional audience and resources. Event Timing & Duration: General timeline discussed: Each open day to run for approximately 3–4 hours . Tentative scheduling period discussed: End of July, depending on academic calendar and venue availability. Planning Aspects: Need for separate subcommittees for each campus. Content planning: stalls, tech showcases, games, membership drives. Possible collaboration with chapters for activity booths and demos.
