A Zoom planning meeting was held to discuss preparations for the upcoming PowerPact Industry Student Meetup scheduled for 28th January at Trace City. The event is expected to bring together around 500 students and 3 professionals in the power-related industries to foster connections, knowledge sharing, and career exploration. Key topics covered during the meeting included budgeting and logistics. Resource person coordination was delegated, with three speakers to be arranged. The Treasurer will manage the funding process. It was noted that the Student Branch fund will initially cover expenses, and reimbursement through the STEM Fund will follow post-event. Discussions also included developing the event agenda, flyer designs, and preparing a registration form that captures student expectations and interests. Sponsorship coordination is to be handled through outreach to Vega and other potential partners.
