Description

The IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Executive Committee meeting was successfully conducted by the Main ExCom of the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Ruhuna. During the meeting, the chapter’s annual activity plan was discussed, including proposed industrial collaborations, field visits, and seminars. The duties and expectations of each executive member were clearly explained to ensure smooth functioning throughout the term. Also, the chapter was motivated to create new key events to start within the chapter. This meeting also helped the volunteers and executive committee members to enhance their professional networking skills, increase collaboration with peers, and better understand leadership in industry-aligned environments.
