As part of “The Career Blueprint” , the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Peradeniya , in collaboration with the IEEE PES and IEEE ComSoc Student Branch Chapters , successfully conducted Session 01: Interview Preparation Session on 28th May 2025 . This online session , held via Zoom , was conducted by Ms. Nadeesha Wickramasinghe , Group Head of Human Resources at VSIS Groups of Companies , who brought her extensive expertise in talent acquisition and career development. The session provided participants with practical insights into effective interview techniques , covering: Interview strategies to handle different formats and questions with confidence. Professional etiquette and the importance of personal branding in interviews. Resume presentation tips , focusing on tailoring applications to meet industry expectations. The interactive session encouraged students to actively engage with the resource person through Q&A segments, allowing them to address specific doubts and concerns related to job interviews. By combining industry-relevant knowledge with practical advice , this session equipped final-year undergraduates with the confidence and skills needed to excel in competitive recruitment processes . It also reflected IEEE’s mission of empowering students through knowledge-sharing and professional development opportunities.
