Date: 23rd July 2025 Time: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM Venue: TLH1, Faculty of Technological Studies, University of Vavuniya Knowledge Partner: Detech AI AI Verse 2.0 was a hands-on, interactive workshop aimed at empowering students with practical skills in prompt engineering and AI tool usage. Attended by over 140 participants, the event featured live prompt battles, secret AI tool demonstrations, real-world use cases across industries, and productivity-enhancing AI techniques. The guest speaker, Ms. Mithushika Murugamoorthy , an AI Business Solutions Specialist, delivered an engaging session highlighting how AI is revolutionizing industries and how students can leverage it effectively. The agenda included welcome remarks, an in-depth AI awareness workshop, a lively Q&A session, and concluded with appreciation and networking. The event was made possible by a committed organizing team, with key contributions from the secretary, designing, and logistics teams. Positive feedback from participants reflected the event's success, with many expressing a newfound confidence in exploring AI for academic and personal use. The total expenditure for the event was LKR 15,615. AI Verse 2.0 was not only a learning opportunity but also a platform that celebrated innovation, collaboration, and future-ready skills.
